1. About EDUXAE
EDUXAE is a tutoring marketplace that helps students and parents discover tutors for home and online learning. EDUXAE provides the technology, profiles, request workflow, communication tools and optional payment services described on the platform.
2. Accounts and accurate information
Users must provide accurate information and keep their account details current. Tutors are responsible for the accuracy of their subjects, experience, fees, availability and verification information.
Students or parents are responsible for providing accurate contact and learning-request information.
3. Tutor verification
EDUXAE may review tutor identity or documents before displaying a verified status. Verification means EDUXAE has completed its applicable review; it is not a guarantee of a tutor's future conduct, teaching results or suitability.
4. Demo requests and tutoring arrangements
A demo request is a request to connect, not a guarantee that a tutor will accept it. Any tutoring arrangement is ultimately between the student/parent and tutor. Users must communicate honestly and professionally.
5. Contact unlock
EDUXAE may charge a one-time contact-unlock fee, currently displayed as ₹49 for eligible tutor contact access. The exact amount shown at checkout controls the transaction.
Contact details are released only after successful payment verification and subject to the access rules shown by EDUXAE.
6. Location features
EDUXAE offers optional approximate-location features so that nearby students can be notified when matching verified tutors become available, and so that students can receive relevant nearby-tutor alerts. Location permission is optional and can be disabled by the user.
7. Fraud and misuse
Users must not create false accounts, manipulate requests, misuse contact information, submit false refund claims, fabricate evidence, or otherwise attempt to obtain money or services dishonestly.
EDUXAE may review account, request, payment, contact-access, notification and communication records available on the platform when investigating suspected misuse.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy. A genuine unsuccessful connection may qualify for a full refund of the applicable contact-unlock fee after verification. False or fraudulent claims are not eligible.
9. Acceptable use
- No harassment, threats or abusive behaviour.
- No unauthorized access, scraping or interference with EDUXAE.
- No sharing or misuse of another person's private contact information.
- No fraudulent payment or refund activity.
- No unlawful educational, commercial or other activity through the platform.
10. Suspension and termination
EDUXAE may restrict or suspend accounts where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, security risk, policy violation or unlawful activity. Where appropriate, EDUXAE may preserve relevant records for dispute and security purposes.
11. Third-party services
EDUXAE may use services such as Firebase, Razorpay, maps, authentication and notification providers. Their own terms and policies may also apply.
12. Changes
EDUXAE may update these terms as the platform evolves. The latest version will be published on this page with its effective date.
